Did you hear about our second Epic Math Race? They loved it but were surprised to find the level of challenge added to two parts. :) It was a very fun review of what we have been focusing on the past two weeks: time, money, </>/greater than or equal to/less than or equal to signs, types of graphs and puropses of each, addition/subtraction/multiplication, algebra (solving for the unknown), and the order of operations (parentheses- do me first).
We had a special guest come to help us make Chinese lanterns. When the amazon.com delivery arrives, we will light them up! :)
To help us focus on the suspense needed in an adventure, each child is writing an adventure story filling in missing parts of a frame. They are exciting already. Your child's mini adventure will be used as another tool to help him/her continue the unique adventure being written.
Three new slideshows have just been added to the "Slideshows" page for your enjoyment. ;)
