Valentine's Day - Next Monday's homework (February 11th) is to make Valentine's Day cards for every Shining Star. Feel free to get a head start. If they are finished before next Monday, then an additional idea has been presented. In keeping with my philosophy, there are no parent projects completed at home. That means, no Valentine's Day box assignment will be coming home. We will create collection containers in class. :)
iPad Training - Last call for any friends or relatives over the age of 60 to get free iPad training. Please text me or send a note if you have someone to recommend, and I will pass the information on to the coordinator. They must be able to get to Los Alamitos one afternoon a week. The classes are limited to approximately 12 participants and begin the first week in March. There may be a spot or two still available. Shining Stars friends' and family members will shoot to the top of the priority list. :)
