If you heard about anything from today it was likely one of three things: Jiji commercial (true), iPad Lab video (hidden), or your child's excitement that we will be moving into chemistry soon. They were thrilled!  If you didn't hear about those things, then they are good topics of conversation later this week. :)

The Mini Maker Channel has debuted. You can find it on the "Creative Minds at 212" page. Most were filmed in our back storage room so excuse the background. :)

What responsible learners!  A few asked about the Flipped Classroom videos for this week. They were prepared last week and hidden at the bottom of the "Flipped Classroom" page. They were moved to the top. :)

Today we enjoyed mathematical thinking and skill review with our math wall on iPads, reviewed the key reading comprehension strategy of determining cause and effect, and finished reading the biography of Dr. Seuss. There were surprising connections between the purpose of his books and the goals of Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr., and Jackie Robinson.

This is deliberately short in case you want to view their new Mini Maker Channel or the video from yesterday afternoon. We hope you enjoy the shows!
