Did your child tell you all about the digestive system today? Annie's mom is a gastroenterologist. She came in to teach us about how food passes through our system. We learned about the tools used in the field of gastroenterology, our anatomy, and how she helps people with digestive problems. It was so interesting and fun!

The day involved many connections to repurposing materials. Each child read and sorted many examples into the 4 R's categories. Some creative repurposing took place during the second recess. I now have a fabulous circuit board necklace with a telephone cord as the chain.
