The symphony was very fun! Guess what the very first song was? That's right! "Aquarium" which you are familiar with if your child did the Flipped Classroom "homework". Many children looked at me smiling in recognition as it began. The second song was the animals song they love. Matthew's dad shared a Bugs Bunny video featuring that song which we will enjoy watching tomorrow. Today they had only five minutes in the classroom other than hearing Don the Bookreader first thing this morning. :)  Pictures will be uploaded later. Cameras were prohibited once it began but a few were taken just before in our seats. :) 

Homework was designed to include Thursday night. Honestly, it was because I am here and forgot that I don't get to have the class. All teachers will be making classes for next year (sorting students for placement) and packing their rooms. Please keep the homework until Monday. :) The teachers only have the one day after the children leave next week to prep for next year. The school will be gated all year for construction and we will be locked out. It will be the first year we have not been able to prep our classrooms throughout the summer. We will not be allowed back in until the first day of school - literally - not even the weekend before.
