known + unknown = known.
The goal was to figure out how many more people could line up before the Tower of Terror ride closed for the night.
Surely you heard about our collaborative writing about Neil Armstrong after reading to learn about his life. :) It was fun to see the searching and practice from home to find what I wanted to do pay off for them. They loved it! A safe prediction would be that your child asked for your phone, computer, and tablet in different areas of the house to test it out. :)
The children also continued their Walt Disney Museum scavenger hunts with great success. They are practicing reading to learn, synthesizing (combining and looking for similarities) what they read and learn, then prioritizing what is important or relevant to them.
Since the children keep talking about decorating trees, wrapping presents, and preparing for the Seal Beach parade, it is clear that they have some other things on their minds during the day. :) Other than the noise level, it would not be obvious. Please thank your child for always trying his/her best, applying himself/herself, and showing such enthusiasm for learning together. Thank you for your ongoing support and positive feedback. It's clear where their positive attitudes originated. :)
