Happy 12-12-12 Day!

Yesterday, we interviewed an official Time for Kids news reporter! It was an incredible experience for everyone. Today is her 14th birthday. Happy birthday to Jamie! :)

In honor of 12-12-12, our entire day was designed around 12. :) Below is a list of what we did:
- 12 minutes of outdoor exercise - running, jogging, walking,
- 12 jumping jacks, 12 cherry pickers, 12 cross jumps
- 12 seconds of Zen at a time

Thinking across the disciplines, your child  . . .
- solved 12 personalized math problems
- wrote about 12 people who have changed their lives in a positive way (1 sentence synthesizing the big ideas of each person's contribution)
- wrote about 12 activities he/she has already enjoyed as a Shining Star.
